Aside from some of the greats in mainstream hip-hip, we don't run into many artists who are highly sufficient in energy. By energy, we mean from the moment you hear them speak you're immediately pulled into their music before you can put together what they're saying. Then, when you run back the song, you find out they are actually dope. That's what we got with Rhode Island native Angel Mercedes. You can literally feel the passion behind every word of his music; shockingly enough his music video Bitch is the only one we could find. With this much potential lurking in the state, it would be a disappointment to see it go to waste. We will be keeping an eye on him moving forward.
